Meet Coach Roberson

 

I am Kimberly McGruder - Roberson and I am an alumna of North Shore Senior High School.  While in high school I played four years of varsity volleyball and ran four years of varsity track.  I earned a track and field scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin where I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Management.  I then furthered my education and earned a  Masters of Education Degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration.  I started my career in education in Galena Park ISD here, at my alma mater and I'm still PROUD to be a Mustang! My first teaching assignment was Teen Leadership and I eventually matriculated to teaching Physical Education.   

 

Not only do I teach Physical Education, I am also the proud Head Coach of the North Shore Lady Mustang Track and Field Team.  We have won many championships over the years and we're super proud to represent North Shore and Galena Park ISD!

When I'm away from school, I love to cook and spend time with my family, friends and my dog, Leila!  Although the school year looks a but different, I truly believe it's going to be a great year here at North Shore 9 and we're glad that you're here to be apart of it!  Anytime you see me, I'm sure to have a smile on my face so please make sure you stop me and say "HEY COACH ROBE!"  With that being said, "Welcome to North Shore 9" and LET'S GO MUSTANGS!!
