WELCOME TO

PHYSICAL EDUCATION!! 

 

Wow!! We never would have thought that we would be starting the school year online.  However, HERE WE ARE!! Welcome to Physical Education here at North Shore 9th Grade Campus. In this class, we will learn about what it takes to live an active and healthy lifestyle. We will engage in a number of various exercises that will help to strengthen and tone our bodies and journey down the road of becoming physically fit.  Studies show that more teenagers are developing many chronic illnesses, many of which can be combated through proper eating habits and exercise.  Here in P.E., we're going to participate in exercise programs that will develop muscular strength, improve cardiovascular endurance and enhance and tone our body composition.

One of our primary goals in this class is to help the student understand the direct link between eating properly and exercise and how it affects our everyday functional fitness.
